Connect CompanyCam

Link prospects to CompanyCam projects so job-site photos show up on the prospect: how to connect, when projects are created, and how to disconnect.

CompanyCam is the photo app for your crews. Connect it and the photos they take show up on the LeadScout prospect, so the office sees the roof or siding before the estimate goes out. CompanyCam is included with Pro and higher.

Connect

  1. Open Settings, then Integrations. Owners and admins only.
  2. On the CompanyCam card, click Connect CompanyCam.
  3. Sign in to CompanyCam and approve access.

On your phone, open Profile, then Integrations, and tap Connect CompanyCam. The connection is for the whole company, so this only has to be done once. The card then shows the connected CompanyCam company, who connected it, and how many projects and photos are linked.

If the card says Coming soon, CompanyCam is not turned on for your account yet.

When projects are created

Under Create projects automatically, choose when LeadScout creates a CompanyCam project for a prospect:

  • When an appointment is set (the default): the project is ready before the rep arrives for the inspection or estimate.
  • When a lead reaches a status…: pick the lead status, for example Contract Signed.
  • Manually only: no automatic projects.

Whatever you choose, reps can always start a project from the prospect's Photos section.

Take and see photos

Open a prospect and find the Photos section.

  • Click Take photos to create or link the project and open CompanyCam. On your phone it opens the CompanyCam app straight to the camera.
  • Click Open in CompanyCam to jump to an existing project.
  • Photos your crew takes in CompanyCam appear in the section automatically. They are stored in CompanyCam; LeadScout shows them read-only.

Reconnect

If the card shows CompanyCam connection expired, click Reconnect and sign in again. Photo sync resumes.

Disconnect

On the CompanyCam card, click Disconnect CompanyCam. Existing photo links are kept, but syncing stops and no new projects are created. Nothing is deleted in CompanyCam.

Questions

Does every rep need to connect CompanyCam?

No. One owner or admin connects the company account once. Reps just need the CompanyCam app on their phones to take photos.

Can I upload photos directly in LeadScout?

No. Photos are taken and stored in CompanyCam. LeadScout links the project, opens CompanyCam for you, and shows the photos on the prospect.

What if a project already exists for that address?

LeadScout checks for a CompanyCam project at the same address before creating one and links the existing project instead of making a duplicate.
