Drop pins and add prospects

Add a prospect by dropping a pin on the map, or tag a whole street at once with turbo mode.

Every house you knock is a prospect, and every prospect starts as a pin on the map.

Drop a pin on the web

  1. Open Prospect Map.
  2. Zoom in close to the street. Pins can only be dropped when you are zoomed in.
  3. Click the house. The pin snaps to the building and the address fills in.

The prospect's panel opens so you can set a status, add a note or tag it.

Drop a pin on your phone

On the Map tab, press and hold on the house. A quick tap opens pins that are already there.

Turbo mode: many pins at once

Turbo mode is for marking a whole street fast.

  1. Tap the lightning button to turn on turbo mode.
  2. Tap each house. Tap a pin again to remove it.
  3. Tap a tag on the Turbo Pin card. Every pin you placed is saved with that tag.

Turning turbo mode off throws away pins you have not saved yet.

Property data

The first time you open a pin, LeadScout pulls its property details, such as whether the home is owner-occupied. Each plan includes a number of property lookups. An owner can turn property data off under Settings, then Company.

Questions

Why can I not drop a pin?

Zoom in closer. On the web, pins can only be dropped when you are zoomed in to street level. If your organization has reached its plan limit, the map shows an Out of Pins message instead.
