Sync with Google Calendar

Connect your Google Calendar so appointments sync both ways, time slots reflect your real availability, and you are warned about conflicts.

Google Calendar sync is included with Scout Buddy and higher. Each person connects their own Google account.

Connect

  • On the web, open Calendar and click Connect Google Calendar. Sign in to Google and allow access.
  • Or connect from the appointment editor: when you book an appointment, the Connect Google Calendar card at the top offers the same thing.
  • On your phone, connect from the appointment editor when booking.

Once connected, the Calendar page shows Google Calendar connected.

What it does

  • Appointments go to Google. Every appointment you book in LeadScout is added to your Google Calendar, and removed from it when you cancel.
  • Real availability. The time slots in the appointment editor come from your working hours, your buffer, and the busy times on your Google Calendar. Slots that clash are marked Busy. You can still pick one: a conflict warning appears, and Schedule anyway books it.
  • Conflict warnings. If you pick a time that overlaps something on your calendar, LeadScout shows a Time conflict warning. You can still click Schedule anyway.
  • See everything in one place. Tick Show personal Google Calendar events in the Calendar page settings to show your other Google events alongside LeadScout appointments.

See Book appointments and sync Google Calendar for working hours, buffer and the Calendar page.

Disconnect

On the Calendar page, click the settings button and then Disconnect Google Calendar. Appointments already in LeadScout stay; they just stop syncing.
