Account and billing

Your profile, company and organizations

Update your profile and time zone, edit company settings, switch between organizations, transfer ownership, leave an organization and sign out.

Your profile

Open Settings, then My Profile, to change your first name, last name, email address and mobile phone number, then click Save. On your phone, it's under Profile, then Personal Information.

To change your password, click Update Password on the same page. You are taken to the sign-in page to set a new one.

Time zone

Your time zone is used for the calendar, availability and appointment times. Under Settings, then My Profile, the Time Zone card is set automatically from your location. To pick one yourself, untick Set automatically using your current location, choose a zone and click Save. On your phone, the same setting is under Profile, then Personal Information.

Company settings

Open Settings, then Company. Here you can edit the company name, primary email address, phone number, website and mailing address, and add up to three target zip codes. Only the owner can save changes. The company name and website also appear on your reps' digital business cards and in review request texts.

The same page holds the company switches for property data, new-homeowner leads, the Roof Squares and Solar Coverage cards, and Marketing automation. See Property data, leads and insights and Marketing and review requests.

On your phone, open Profile, then Company.

Belong to more than one organization

One LeadScout account can belong to several organizations, each with its own prospects, team and plan.

  • To switch, click your organization's name at the top of the sidebar and pick another one under Your Organizations. The page reloads with that organization's data. On your phone, tap the organization chip on the Home tab.
  • Invitations you have not accepted yet are listed under Pending Invitations. Accept them from the email you were sent.
  • To start a new organization, open the same menu and click Create organization. You can own one organization on the Free plan; upgrade it to create another.

Transfer ownership

Every organization has one primary owner, who handles billing. To hand that role to someone else:

  1. Open Settings, then Team.
  2. Open the menu on the team member's row and choose Make primary owner.
  3. Confirm.

Only the current primary owner sees this option. After the transfer you remain an owner. On your phone, it's under Profile, then Team Members.

Leave an organization

Open Settings, then Company, and click Leave organization. You lose access to that organization's prospects, territories and reports. Your LeadScout account and your other organizations are not affected.

If you are the primary owner and other people are still on the team, transfer ownership first. If you are the only member, the organization can't be left empty; contact support instead.

Your Support ID

Under Settings, then My Profile, the Support ID card shows a code you can copy and share with support so we can find your account. On your phone, it's at the bottom of the Profile tab; long-press to copy it. See Get help.

Sign out

Click Sign Out under Settings, then My Profile. On your phone, tap Sign Out at the bottom of the Profile tab.

Delete your account

Under Settings, then My Profile, click Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and personal data, and signs you out. It can't be undone. If you are the primary owner of an organization that still has other members, transfer ownership first.

If your account was removed from a team

If the owner removes you from an organization, you see an Account disabled page the next time you sign in. Contact your team owner if that was a mistake, or click Create your own company to start fresh.
